How Fast Inverse Square Studios Inc. handles personal information on this website. The short version: this site has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies, and no sign-up forms.

Who we are
Fast Inverse Square Studios Inc. (Alberta, Canada) is the organization responsible for this website and for any personal information described here. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@fastinversesquarestudios.com. That address reaches the person accountable for privacy at the studio.
What this website collects
There are exactly three ways information reaches us through this site.
- Server logs. Our web server records standard request data — IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. This is ordinary infrastructure logging used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse or faults. Our legal basis is legitimate interests in operating and securing the service. Logs are retained for approximately 30 days and then discarded.
- A single browser preference. If you use the motion toggle, we store one key named
fiss:motionin your browser’s local storage so the site remembers your choice. It is set only when you press the toggle, it never leaves your device, we never see it, and it is not used to identify or track you. Clearing your browser storage removes it. - Email you send us. If you email the studio, we hold your address and message so we can reply. Our legal basis is legitimate interests in responding to correspondence, or taking steps at your request.
What this website does not do
- No analytics or measurement scripts of any kind.
- No advertising, ad networks, or behavioural profiling.
- No tracking cookies. In fact, no cookies at all.
- No third-party scripts, embeds, or social widgets. Fonts are served from this domain.
- No account creation, newsletter, or contact form.
- No sale or sharing of personal information. We have never done this and have no plans to.
- No automated decision-making or profiling.
If any of that changes — an analytics tool, a mailing list, a wishlist form — this page will be updated before the change goes live, and the date at the top will change with it.
Who else sees your information
Our hosting and infrastructure providers process server logs on our behalf in order to serve the site. We do not disclose personal information to anyone else, except where we are legally required to. Some of these providers operate outside Canada, so request data may be processed in other countries, including within the European Economic Area and the United States, under the providers’ own contractual safeguards.
Storefronts are separate
Our games are sold through third-party storefronts such as Steam and the Epic Games Store. When you buy, install, or play a game there, that storefront is the seller and handles your account, payment, and support data under its own privacy policy. We never receive your payment details. This policy covers this website only.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. You also have the right to challenge our handling of your information.
Email privacy@fastinversesquarestudios.com and we will respond. Given how little we hold, most requests are answered quickly. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (your supervisory authority) without going through us first. In Canada, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the site has no forms, accounts, or sign-ups, there is no route by which a child could submit personal information to us. If you believe a child has sent us information by email, contact privacy@fastinversesquarestudios.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes to what we collect will be described here rather than made silently.
